Waterslide!
Over the weekend, we set up Evan's baby pool. We decided it might be fun to move his swingset so the slide went into the water. So, we moved it, put a hose at the top for water to run down, and let him slide away! He had a blast. We got some great photos, too. Here are a few.

Wagon
Heather and Aunt Amber were so nice and they gave us their wagon! Evan loves the wagon and had a great time the other day with his friend Avery.
Here's a picture of the two of them beginning their wagon ride:
Here's a video of Evan trying to pull Avery up the driveway. They were having too much fun!
Zoo Blooms with Mom & Nani
Back in April - we went to the zoo for Zoo Blooms. Here are a couple of pictures from the day. The tulips were beautiful, and we had a great time!
"Dress Up"
I was folding laundry one day - and Evan decided to "dress up" using daddy's socks and underwear. He was so proud for getting himself "dressed" by himself.
Sprinkler
A few days ago, we brought out the sprinkler. Avery next door joined in as well. Evan does love the water (but maybe not sharing the towel)! Check it out:

The Zoo with Dad
A few weeks ago, we took a trip to the zoo as a family. It's so much fun now that Evan has conversations with us. I love this picture of Evan and Daddy (and the peacock)!

Kings Island
We took Evan to Kings Island last year in September and he had a great time. Well, ever since then he has been asking us if Kings Island is open yet! (Kids don't forgot :)). So, we decided to get passes this year. We have already gone twice, on the first two days that they were open. It's been a blast. Evan is slightly under 36" required for some of the rides - so we put on his tall shoes and added extra socks - and he was ready to go. Here are some pictures from one of our visits!

Wormy
We had a beautiful day yesterday and Evan and I decided to plant flowers. I thought Evan would be interested in digging in the dirt. Instead, he made a new friend - Wormy the worm! Evan showed Wormy around the yard, found a new pipe for him to play in, and even took him on the swing. I didn't have the heart to tell him that Wormy was looking a little crunchy when we returned him to the grass. Luckily there are lots of "Wormys" out there!
Big Boy Bed
On March 9th, Doug's 30th Birthday - Evan decided it was his turn to grow up too. He climbed out of his bed for the first time. I was cooking for Doug's birthday, and heard a door open upstairs. I went upstairs and found Evan at the door with a huge grin on his face. Over the next few days, he demonstrated how he could get out of this be "safely" over and over again (even after we flipped the crib around so the tall side was up. So, we took the front of the crib off and put up a bed rail. It was an adjustment for Evan (now being about to leave his crib) but overall, he did a great job!

Slacking!
Okay - I've been slacking a little bit with my posts. Sorry and I'll try to be better next time :)
THANKSGIVING:
Evan had a great Thanksgiving. We celebrated at the Ross' for lunch and the Whitton's for dinner. Evan wasn't so crazy about the turkey - but he had a great time hanging out with everyone. Here are a few pics playing the piano:

CHRISTMAS TREE:
Here are a few pictures of us putting up the giant Christmas tree the day after Thanksgiving. Evan was so excited to get it up. He helped us put on all the low ornaments. We also had him put up the candy canes. Somehow, he knew that they were candy and decided to open one up and eat it right away.
